Chrome Frame Blue

Could someone tell me how to paint part of my trip on my Smart Parts Ion?

I had my Ion for some time now and black is not cutting it. I thought I wanted to paint the frame trigger is in blue, orange or chrome. I think Chrome will be more difficult, but I would like some input. I'll probably paint the body kit and so anything regarding that would be great. Yes, but with the original black body, can you paint a little more than that?

If you want the trigger frame to be chrome, you should just sand smooth and let the show bare aluminum. If you want paint, you first need to sand the original finish, then paint a primer on who adhere to aluminum. Once you do that, you can put your final coat on. As for the body, you should probably just buy a new one in the color you want. Smartparts has body kits color almost all for the ion, and only $ 10.
