Road Bikes: Female Male VS?

People who have experience riding road bikes please answer this question, I am a woman who is 5'2 "(give or take) and I am looking for a road bike. I wonder if I should get a road bike or men from women. My best friend, also a woman, just got a road bike that is a model of men. She said she did it because it really is a solid structure. Motorcycles on the road are really better? The bike I've been looking for a Peugeot Purple, blue ladies mixed Raleigh frame with aluminum wheels and quick release …. I have idea of what some of what it means … the bike just looks good … Please tell me your opinion. Listed on craigslist (I know the man). There is a bike shop … And yes the central bar is tilted. How are you motorcycle sounds are more "traditional bicycles" for women. The only differences are the top tube is bent to accommodate for wearing skirts. These frameworks will lose some of the strengths due to the sloping configuration, although many strong enough for normal driving and light trail riding dirt.
